It didn't start with Central Yards.

In 2018, Zaha Hadid Architects brought us onto The Henderson — a 36-storey tower on the most expensive urban land parcel ever sold globally. Henderson Land's own flagship. We produced the images and films that communicated that building through concept to completion in 2024.

Henderson Land saw the work. So did Lead8.

That's where this began.

THE PROJECT

One developer. Five studios. One visual story.

Central Yards is Henderson Land's most ambitious development. A 400-metre groundscraper along Victoria Harbour — nine storeys, 1.6 million square feet of offices, retail, a 1,100-seat Broadway-calibre theatre, and a 300-metre rooftop sky garden.

The design consortium brought together five international studios simultaneously: Lead8 as design architect, AL_A for retail interiors, UNStudio for the theatre, PWP Landscape Architecture for the grounds, and Speirs Major for lighting.

THE WORK

Two commissions running in parallel.

Lead8 hired us directly for the still images. Henderson Land hired us directly for the films — three, one per zone — and brought us in to coordinate the model pipeline across all contributing studios.

At the scale of Central Yards, consolidating visual assets from five world-class studios is a precise and demanding process. Each team works to its own geometry logic, detail level, and file pipeline. Across 400 metres of mixed-use development — landscape, architecture, theatre structure, and building envelope all developed simultaneously by separate teams — bringing those elements into a unified scene requires resolving intersections, maintaining each studio's design intent, and ensuring nothing is simplified in a way that misrepresents the architecture.

Alongside this, we developed the narrative structure for the three films — sequence, pacing, which moments across each zone told the story of the development clearly. The client had clear direction. We worked within that, not against it.

THE OUTCOME

Where the work ended up.

The still images are published on Henderson Land's website and printed on the construction site hoardings at Central Harbourfront — the primary public face of the project during construction.

The three zone films were delivered to Henderson Land directly. The project has been covered by Dezeen, Parametric Architecture, and Architects Journal.
